Volero to work with VBC Biel-Bienne

Volero ZurichSwiss national champion and Champions League competitor Voléro Zurich will closely work together with the VBC Biel-Bienne in the near future. The club from Biel, currently under the guidance of Swiss men’s national team coach Michel Bolle, will be responsible not only for the training of young Swiss talents, but also will have the task to help these players approach to full professionalism. As Voléro is preparing for the next CEV Champions League and the Swiss national team is back to the international arena along the way to the 2013 CEV European Championship Switzerland is bidding for together with Germany, this request for close cooperation coming from the VBC Biel-Bienne was welcome with open arms in Zürich. The partnership agreement was endorsed this week by the Board of Administration of both clubs. "We are convinced that the young Swiss players who want make it to the top of the national league and to the national team by 2013, have to play from now on in a team starring in the top division” said Voléro President Stav Jacobi. Marina Miletic new member of Dinamo Yantar

Marina MileticOutside hitter of Croatian national team Marina Miletic signed a one year contract with Russian team Dinamo Yantar. In the previous seasons Marina was a member of Croatian teams Vukovar, Osijek and Rijeka Kvig, and the teams from France La Rochette, Le Cannet and Aspit Mulhouse. She was born on February 21st 1983 and is 180cm tall. 
 
Ivana Lukovic goes to Perugia

Ivana LukovicOpposite of Serbian Junior team  Ivana Lukovic, born 18/07/1992,  signed a four year contract with Italian team Sirio Perugia. During this summer, with Serbian Junior team,  Ivana Lukovic will participate at Junior Balkan Championship 2010 and  Junior European Championship from September 03-12.2010 .  Ivana, one of the most talented Serbian players just eighteen years old and 190 cm. high, won silver medal with Serbian team at 2009 Girls Youth World Championship. Before Perugia she was a member of Vizura from Belgrade. 
 
Marina Vujovic signed for Constanta

Marina VujovicMarina Vujovic,  libero of SB Community,  signed a new one-year contract with Romanian national championship finalist Constanta, new club of our player Jasna Majstorovic. In the previous seasons  Marina played for Crvena zvezda from Belgrade Serbia, Volero Zurich and Iraklis Thessaloniki.
 
Olesia Rykhliuk signed for Sirio Perugia

Olesia RykhliukOne of the most talented Ukrainian volleyball players Olesia Rykhliuk signed a one year contract with Italian team Sirio Perugia. Olesia was born on December 11th 1987 and she is 194cm tall with very strong spike and good block. In the last season she was a member of Ukrainian team Jinestra Odessa.

FIVB World Grand Prix title for USA

The United States landed their third FIVB World Grand Prix title with a perfect 5-0 record after downing Japan 3-0 in their last match at the six-team round-robin Final Round.

 

Serbia will fight for gold medal

2010 Junior Balkan Championship continues with the last matches on sunday August 15th. Turkey and Serbia will be facing each other in the Final. The Final will start at 4:30pm (local time) in Banja Luka.

Bulgaria won silver medal

Bulgarian team of our players Eva Yaneva, Strashimira Filipova, Diana Nenova and Mariya Filipova won silver medal at CEV European league 2010.
